Lauren Aloise, Co-Founder of Devour Tours & VP of Marketing at Walks Tours
Lauren Aloise is the VP of Marketing at Walks & Devour Tours, where she leads global strategy for immersive food and cultural experiences across Europe and the U.S. A passionate advocate for responsible tourism, Lauren believes travel should support local economies and preserve cultural identity—not dilute it. She began her journey in 2012, founding Devour Tours with a single food tour in Madrid. What started as a love letter to Spain’s small food businesses grew into a celebrated brand now operating in 18 destinations. Since merging with Walks in 2021, Lauren has helped steer both brands with purpose—prioritizing community connection, storytelling, and sustainability. When she’s not shaping better travel, she’s likely sharing recipes and culinary traditions on her blog, Spanish Sabores, or Instagram @spanishsabores

Helena Menezes, Lisbon Tour Guide & Author
Born in Lisbon and deeply connected to southern Portugal, Helena has worn many hats—researcher, entrepreneur, writer, and now, local guide. She spent six years as a fellow researcher in landscape sciences at the University of Évora before co-founding an organic supermarket in Almada, which she ran for eight years. Along the way, she also explored her passion for storytelling, publishing two children’s books (2022 and 2025). Since 2024, Helena has been working full-time as a local guide in Lisbon, where she brings the city’s rich history and hidden stories to life for curious travelers. Ketti Wilhelm, Founder of Tilted Map
Ketti Wilhelm is the founder of Tilted Map – an award-winning, trusted travel blog and social media brand sharing realistic advice for how to make any kind of trip more sustainable. (Because she firmly believes "sustainable travel" doesn't have to mean an eco-lodge in the rainforest!) A former travel journalist, Ketti started Tilted Map in 2019, after finishing her master's degree in Sustainable Business at a university in Milan, Italy. She also leads e-bike trips in off-the-beaten-path parts of Italy that most foreigners never visit! Originally from the US, Ketti lived and worked for years in Italy, France, Spain, China and Nicaragua. She speaks fluent Spanish and Italian (after 10 years with her Italian partner in life and travel), and a bit of French, Portuguese and Mandarin. When not traveling, you can find her advocating for climate solutions like carbon removal and SAF, exploring the outdoors, tasting new restaurants, and playing the Brazilian martial art of capoeira. Follow her for practical tips on sustainable travel and living on Instagram and Youtube
